Carlos Martínez Mínguez

The current Mayor of the Soria City Council. His education includes studies in Agricultural Engineering. 
On March 27, 2007, at the age of 34, he became the youngest mayor of the capitals of the Community. He is currently a member of the executive of the FEMP and vice-president of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions.
During the legislature (2003 - 2007) he was spokesman for the PSOE in the municipal opposition, and held a parliamentary position in the Castile and León Parliament. This will be the third legislature that will govern with absolute majority the consistory of the capital.
