Antonio Morán Palao
Professor of Chemical Engineering, he is the director of the Chemical, Environmental and Bioprocess Engineering Group at the University of León, as well as the coordinator of the PhD Programme in Production Engineering and Computing, he has also been the director of the Master in EERR at the ULE for ten years. His main lines of research currently focus on:
- Waste valorisation, mainly for biogas and fertiliser production.
- Applications of bioelectrochemical systems
He has directed and collaborated in more than 80 R&D projects at regional, national and European level. He has also collaborated with companies in numerous projects and contracts.
He has more than 120 international publications and has presented more than 100 papers in congresses and dissemination publications. Director of 21 doctoral theses.
The group he directs has a marked interdisciplinary character and has about 20 members. He collaborates with several international journals and belongs to several national and European technology platforms. He is also an evaluator of R&D projects at both national and international level.
