Antonio Vallespir de Gregorio
Telecommunications Engineer (1992. Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicaciones de Barcelona, attached to UPC); MBA (1994. Instituto de Empresa) and General Management Programme (2006. IESE, University of Navarra). He is CEO of Vertex Bioenergy, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Vertex Bioenergy Foundation.
He was CEO of Abengoa Bioenergy (2015-2017), in Saint Louis (US), leading a company of more than 4,000 professionals with 16 production centres, and achieving a consolidated turnover of more than 2.5 billion euros.
Previously, he served as CEO of Abengoa Bioenergy and was a member of Abengoa's Executive Committee.
During this period, he has also promoted numerous initiatives related to solidarity, environmental preservation and climate action, education and work-life balance within the company.
