Jorge Miñón Martínez
PhD in agricultural engineering, during his doctoral research he developed a technology to convert residual nutrients into algae biomass, to be incorporated into agricultural soils in the form of fertilisers. Within this framework, in 2014 he founded the company aGrae Solutions, with the aim of integrating precision agriculture tools in a more sustainable management of soils and agricultural inputs, among others. Through this company, he is currently developing projects in Spain and Mexico where he is helping farmers to optimise the use of fertilisers, improve their soils and therefore reduce the carbon footprint of their crops.
