Pilar Llorente Ruiz de Azua
Holds a Master in Physics and a Master in EU studies. She has worked for more than 6 years a Project Officer at the Bio-based industries joint undertaking (BBI JU), a public private partnership between the EU and the Bio-based industries consortium, which funds EU collaborative R&D projects in the bio-based economy sector. Before that, she had been working several years in engineering and R&D consultancy. At her position as BBI JU Project Officer, she is in charge of the monitoring of different research and innovation projects in the field of the bio-based economy, the assessment of projects’ key performance indicators and environmental and socio-economic impacts and the coordination of the BBI JU Scientific Committee Secretariat.
