Rubén García
Graduate in Forestry Engineering, he is Director of Natural Resources at the Public Company of Infrastructures and Environment of Castilla y León (SOMACYL).
His professional experience includes different tasks carried out in the Ploder Business Group, in the Natural Heritage Foundation of Castilla y León and in SOMACYL.
In SOMACYL, the Natural Resources department manages more than 9,000 ha of poplar groves, ensures the supply of more than 400,000 t of forest biomass per year to supply our heat networks, trigeneration plant, pellet factory and the electricity production plants in which we participate. It also manufactures and supplies more than 3,000 tonnes of pellets to public facilities in Castilla y León, which are mainly managed by Somacyl. Another of its lines of work is the execution of works, services and installations commissioned by the Junta de Castilla y León.
