INNOVATION, LOCAL DEVELOPMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

The post covid recovery calls us to define our development strategy: we want to empower rural areas through the efficient use of endogenous renewable resources, promote new business models that will improve the competitiveness of our business fabric, generate jobs and set population especially in the areas most affected by the scourge of the of "España Vaciada".

According to the European Green Deal - the EU´s growth strategy- we must promote an economy at the service of the people "that restores more to nature than it takes away".

Now more than ever: NATURE IS THE WAY

An event that resumes the presence and connects with the territory. Keynotes, panel debates, good practices, companies, academies and technology centers say PRESENT in the heart of Spain.

Two days of debate and reflection combined with visits to the territory

More than 20 national and international participants,  including the main CEOs of leading companies in the sector, scientific leaders, as well as members of government and public institutions.

BIOECONOMY FORUM
NATURE IS THE WAY

The development of the bioeconomy is a great opportunity for Spain and its people to face the demographic challenge, to encourage the sustainable use of their resources, the value added at source and to promote R&D&I.
The Bioeconomy Forum brings together government, universities, companies, investment funds, technology centres and the community in general to create synergies and promote this transformation.
The ecological transition calls for the decarbonization of the economy and the bioeconomy is the way forward.

“We must take a big step forward and use this challenge as an opportunity to build a modern, clean and healthy economy that serves the next generation”

Ursula Von der Leyen. President of the European Commission
